Forestry Safety Overview

This course is intended to provide an overview of working in the forest sector to individuals that have COR (Certificate of Recognition) experience in other industries. It can also be used as a general safety orientation to any person new to forestry.

This course meets the training requirement for SAFE Companies certification when converting from another Certifying Partner’s COR.

It does not contain auditor training and therefore does not meet WorkSafeBC’s requirements for the COR rebate. This course does not count as credit for BASE, SEOHS or IOO training or refresher training.
