Submitting SAFE Companies Audits

Please note: Instructions for audit submissions by courier and drop off have changed due to COVID-19.
* Our office is currently available by scheduled appointment ONLY for consultations or audit drop off.

To reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure, BCFSC recommends paperless submissions. Submit your audit electronically. Make an electronic copy of your documentation and either:

  1. Upload via our website (required for large electronic files), 
  2. Email (if files are less than 5MB – 8MB) to audits@bcforestsafe.org or, 
  3. Send by fax 250-741-1068

If electronic submission is not possible, audits can be submitted to the BC Forest Safety Council using the following: 

By courier or via tracked delivery service to our Nanaimo office. Send us the tracking information via email to accounting@bcforestsafe.org that includes:

  1. Courier type/name 
  2. Tracking number

Drop off at our Nanaimo office. *Audit drop off or consultation is currently available by scheduled appointment ONLY. Please contact us by phone to arrange a scheduled drop time. Once you arrive, masks are recommended, and social distancing procedures are in place.

If you have recently sent your SAFE Companies audit, please check our website to see if your audit has been received, or you can call toll-free 1-877-741-1060.

Audit Results, Certificates and Returned Audits

We will email audit results letters and SAFE Certificates where applicable. Hard copies of both will only be mailed by Canada Post upon request.

For companies requesting returns of hard copy audits, BCFSC will send them via Canada Post.
