WorkSafeBC has added a First Aid Assessment Worksheet to assist employers with the new regulation requiring a written assessment of first aid equipment, supplies, and facilities required at each of workplace.
This worksheet resource is provided to help you conduct and document the assessment and is based on amendments to the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation that come into effect on November 1, 2024.
Employers can now use the resource to prepare for meeting the requirements of those changes coming to effect in 4 months time. Review the First aid requirements for more information and resources that will be required by all BC employers.
