Safety Alert
Just before dawn, a worker was driving a welding truck on the main road of the plant from the scales to the back side of the mill in low light.
They noticed a chip loader coming around a corner being driven by a contractor. The worker driving the welding truck pulled off to the right but the chip loader operator did not see them and did not move over. The welding truck driver tried to reverse before the chip truck got to their location. The chip loader never saw the welding truck and struck the welding truck causing damage to the hood.
