Safety Alert
An employee was attempting to clear a jam in a waste conveyor using a three-foot pike pole.
They were working against the flow when debris from the tilt-hoist conveyor unexpectedly released, pressing against on the tip of the pike pole and pushing it into the waste conveyor.
