First Aid in Forestry Operations

A First Aid program is meant to provide quick, effective first response to an injured worker. When an incident occurs, every moment counts. The time between the incident and First Aid treatment can significantly affect the outcome.

This page is intended to support forestry operations in developing and implementing the right First Aid program. We suggest using WorkSafeBC’s resources as a starting point and then supplementing them with BCFSC’s forestry-specific materials.
