Forestry Workers’ Perceptions on Safety
In our ongoing commitment to forestry worker health and safety, the BC Forest Safety Council (BCFSC) is inviting BC forestry workers to participate in the UBC Faculty of Forestry (Collaborative Research Institution: Korea Forest Service) survey to research the safety perceptions of forestry workers in BC and South Korea.
This survey is part of a study aimed at understanding the safety perceptions of forestry workers and will delve into examining improvement strategies to reduce workplace accidents in the forestry sector, particularly in harvesting operations.
The results of this study will be published in journal articles and reports. Participation in this study is voluntary. BCFSC encourages workers in the BC forest sector to participate in this survey to help contribute to the improvement of forestry safety. All information received is confidential.
Survey Details:
- Participants: Forestry workers in BC Forestry companies/organizations
- Survey duration: 10-15 minutes to complete
- Survey submission deadline: May 18, 2024
