Upon completing this program, you should have an awareness of:

  • Rigging Components and their functions.
  • Basic rigging practices, including safe handling, inspection, and maintenance of rigging equipment.
  • Advanced rigging concepts and their applications in complex yarding scenarios.
  • Principles and considerations involved in planning block setups for yarding.
  • Effective block plans.
  • Daily responsibilities and tasks of a Hook Tender.

Duration & Delivery

This program of courses will take approximately 5 hours. Free optional content is also included. This is an online program with self-paced, flexible 24/7 access and the expectation of participants completing the program within six months of enrollment.
