Faller Certification Card Renewals

BC Forest Safety Council (BCFSC) Faller cards are issued annually to certified fallers in good standing with the BCFSC.  From 2008 through 2013 annual faller card renewal fees were charged to all certified fallers before a current card was issued.  2013 was the last year annual renewal fees were collected.

If you have outstanding faller fees from any time between 2008 and 2013 and you wish to receive a current faller certification card you have two options:

  1. Pay outstanding balance owing and have your current employer verify, using The Employer and Faller Declaration Form, that you have been working as a production faller with their company for the past 6 months.
  2. If you do not have a current employer who can verify your production falling experience, you will need to pay the outstanding balance owing as well as receive a field visit from a BCFSC Falling Safety Advisor (FSA).  The FSA will confirm that you have the skills and knowledge to perform falling duties in a safe manner.

Upon fulfillment of one of the options above, a current faller certification card will be issued.
