An employee of Tom Neufeld Trucking Ltd. was pressure washing a Butt ‘N Top as part of routine maintenance. While doing this work, a quantity of degreaser must have blown back in his face.
After a while he stopped pressure washing and noticed his vision had become cloudy. After rinsing his eyes for 20 minutes, he went to the medical clinic in Houston for treatment.
Fortunately, his vision eventually returned to normal.
• Safety glasses or safety shield must be worn when pressure washing
